The Service Department is the centerpiece of Spectrum Systems, the basis of the company's founding, and without equal in the United States. Spectrum can customize maintenance contracts to meet a customer's specific needs. These personalized options range from periodic visits, providing on-site assistance to your maintenance staff, to full turnkey contracts which can include all labor, parts, and response and uptime guarantees. Service personnel can perform cylinder gas, opacity, and PM audits, RATA and emergency call-out support, as needed. Operator, maintenance, OJT, and refresher training can be provided to customer's employees tasked with CEMS maintenance. Quality Assurance and Monitoring Plan documentation can be provided and modernized.
Spectrum operates a full depot-level lab with the ability to repair and refurbish most major CEMS analyzer and monitor brands. Quick turnaround times are available when a customer finds themselves in an emergency situation. In some cases, equipment repairs are completed and ready for return the same day they arrive. System and service customers enjoy free telephone support. The lab also performs Elemental Mercury Calibrator certifications in accordance with the Interim EPA Traceability Protocol as well as Neutral Density Filter certifications as required by 40CFR60.
Spectrum Systems has performed Air Emissions Testing since 1991 and was the first to certify a CEMS in accordance with 40CFR75. Testing department personnel are certified in accordance with ASTM D7036 by the Source Evaluation Society.
